Build the foundation for collective intelligence.

Complex projects require continuity. One agent discovers something another needs. A decision depends on evidence that may change. Work pauses for a teammate, a test, or a human response, then needs to continue with an accurate understanding of what happened.

We’re building CocoIndex to provide that continuity: shared knowledge that stays connected to its sources, findings that other agents can build on, and coordination that brings agents back into the work when they are needed.

Our foundation is an incremental engine that maintains derived data as its inputs change. We want to extend that foundation into the infrastructure for sustained collaboration, connecting changes in the world to changes in what agents know and what they do.

We’re starting with software engineering, where we can measure whether agents repeat less work, catch outdated assumptions, and complete projects more reliably.

The role

Build the infrastructure that keeps agent knowledge current and helps agents work together on complex projects. As a founding engineer, you’ll work with us defining the future of the infrastructure and the company.

What you’ll work on

• Build and improve the incremental engine that updates derived data as its sources change.
• Work on how agents share findings, respond to changes, and resume work when they are needed.
• Make the infrastructure reliable and easier for developers to use.

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years building infrastructure projects.
• Good at problem solving.
• Understands distributed computing.
• Builder.
